Created and developed by Cheryl Williams, the Archway English Pathway reflects years of educational practice, coaching, mentoring, and curriculum development.
The Archway English Pathway was created by Cheryl Williams, an educator, coach, mentor, and author with a passion for helping people communicate with confidence, clarity, and purpose.
Drawing on almost 20 years of experience in coaching, mentoring, facilitation, learning and development, together with an earlier career in international finance and business planning, Cheryl has combined structured thinking with learner-centred practice to create a methodology that supports both language development and personal growth.
The Archway English Pathway was developed from a simple belief: learning English should be about more than grammar and vocabulary. It should help learners build the confidence, communication skills, and practical understanding needed to use English effectively in everyday life, education, and professional environments.
Today, the methodology continues to evolve through progressive learning resources, personalised coaching, educator partnerships, licensing opportunities, and the ongoing development of new learning experiences, while remaining guided by the same four principles that inspired its creation:

Alongside Archway English, Cheryl is the founder of ORB Coaching & Mentoring, where she works with individuals, leaders, educators, and organisations to support communication, leadership, confidence, and personal development. Many of the coaching principles that underpin the Archway English Pathway have evolved through this wider professional practice, creating a learning methodology that combines language learning with real-world communication and personal growth.
